Casa para un pintor

Description

Essentially, the house is a white prism carved into the existing rock, housing both the painting studio and the living quarters.
The proportions of each space have been designed with their respective functions in mind. Thus, the painting studio is located on the ground floor. Its volume is tailored to accommodate large-scale painting. The light must be as uniform and controlled as possible. A courtyard pierces the space and provides it with this quality. The stone reemerges and is revealed within it. The concrete takes on this new value as a contemporary stone-like element.
