This training course will present Hilti's general portfolio of passive fire protection solutions, covering the main systems and applications. Solutions for electrical and other installations penetrations will be analyzed, as well as the treatment of linear discontinuities and joints to ensure proper compartmentalization.

The operation of the FS Selector digital tool will also be explained as an aid in the prescription and selection of tested systems. In addition, there will be an in-depth look at compartmentalization in ventilated facades with Hilti CFS-VB/NVB fire barriers and compartmentalization in curtain walls using Hilti CFS-SP WB sprayable sealant. All of this will be accompanied by their technical advantages and application criteria.

The training will address sectorization in ventilated facades using Hilti CFS-VB/NVB fire barriers, analyzing their application and installation criteria. The regulatory environment and current regulatory framework governing these solutions will be reviewed, as well as the technical documentation required for their correct specification and execution.

The product portfolio and value proposition associated with these solutions in terms of safety and efficiency will also be presented. In the curtain wall compartmentalization section, Hilti CFS-SP WB sprayable sealant will be examined as a technical solution for passive fire protection. Finally, its competitive advantages, practical applications, and supporting technical documentation will be explained.

In this training session, we will address the key criteria for the correct selection of high-performance Guardian Glass in residential and commercial projects. We will analyze the fundamental concepts related to thermal insulation (Ug value and solar factor), double and triple glazing, safety, and acoustic comfort, with a practical and prescription-oriented approach.

We will also review the Guardian Glass thermal glass families and the use of Glass Analytics as a support tool for analyzing compositions and downloading technical data sheets. The session will end with a question and answer session and discussion.
