We spoke with Ignacio to learn about the philosophy behind oa110 | Oficina de arquitectura 110.
OA110 was the studio responsible for the renovation of Hotel Casa de Indias by Intur in Seville, where the STRUGAL S74RP system was installed in both exposed and concealed versions.

oa110 was founded in 2012 and was initially based in Seville and Punta Umbría, two strategically located Andalusian cities 110 kilometers apart. Under the direction of architects Ignacio Toribio and Alberto Toscano, the studio focuses its work on the broad field of architecture, urban planning, and design, developing public and private projects with both national and international reach.
What is the philosophy behind the OA-110?
The philosophy of OA-110 is to create quality architecture tailored to our clients' needs. The key to this is understanding that each client is different and therefore has different needs and concerns. We achieve our goals because we have the best team to do so.
What was the main challenge of this project?
The main challenge of this project was to perform microsurgery. Each space and each area of the building had to be viewed as a separate project. It took a lot of effort and hard work, but in the end it paid off.
Which STRUGAL systems were used in the execution of the project?
We used several STRUGAL systems in this project, but the one that stands out most for us is the S74 concealed leaf. This system helped us enhance the façade of this building, which has very striking architecture. The lines and features of this joinery allowed us to highlight the façade.
