Strugal puts at the disposal of manufacturers and designers of outdoor enclosure systems one of the most complete testing laboratories in the sector in order to ensure the integral quality of façades, windows and doors.
In the ATW test bench for windows and doors we carry out air permeability, water-tightness and wind resistance tests.
Air permeability testing assesses us about the property of a closed window to let air pass when it is subjected to a differential pressure.
Our team I+D+I carries out the measurement of the air flow (m3 /h) that passes through the sample as a result of the testing pressure according to the test standard UNE-EN 1026:2000, by establishing 4 permeability levels, as defined by the UNE-EN 12207:2000 standard.
During the water-tightness testing the window is kept under a constant water spray with increasing pressures according to the test standard UNE-EN 1027:2000, with 10 tightness levels as defined by the UNE-EN 12208:2000 standard. It is proved in this way the window´s ability to stop water leakage.
With regard to the wind resistance testing, in accordance with the test standard UNE-EN 12211:2000, the window is subjected to different positive and negative wind pressures in order to establish its resistance to deterioration, keeping its properties and guaranteeing the user’s safety. The window is classified in one of the 5 levels as defined by the UNE-EN 12210:2000 standard. /p>
